Remarks The objectives of this PT are: - Crude protein: To enable laboratories to verify if they are performing their methods with a standard deviation of reproducibility equal to 1.25% of the crude protein content and to compare their results with a robust consensus average. - Fat: To enable laboratories to verify that they are operating with a reproducibility that conforms to a target of 0.55 g / 100g. The evaluation will be based on a robust consensual average, but considering only observations based on explicit methods for animal feed and that incorporate an acid hydrolysis stage, prior to solvent extraction. The nature of the solvent is not restricted, nor is the automation of the process. Exceptionally other methods may be evaluated, but they will not be included in the robust average. - Ash: To enable laboratories to verify that they are operating with a reproducibility that conforms to a target of 0.25 g / 100g. The evaluation is based on a robust consensual average, but only considering observations based on explicit methods for animal feed. - Moisture: To enable laboratories to verify if they perform their method with a standard deviation of reproducibility equal to 0.35 g / 100g and to compare their results with a robust consensus average.
