Anmerkungen This scheme is designed to fulfil participant requirements for methods that relate to the processing, and analysis of computer-based devices. Participant accreditation schedules within this area are based on the operating systems as follows: · Windows · MacOS · Linux The 2023 scheme includes an acquisition file of a Windows operating system in .E01 format. MacOS and Linux operating systems will be included in future rounds (2024 and 2025) of the scheme. It is currently intended that the scheme will fulfil all 3 operating systems over a 3 year period. Each Proficiency Test Batch will consist of a proficiency test item, a workbook in which questions are asked of the participants and a storage drive on which the participant will place case files, workbook responses and contemporaneous notes. Also within the Proficiency Test Batch is a case background, examination strategy and participant instructions. The PT test devices are provided, packaged appropriately such that they simulate devices seized by a police force or civil authority and are able to comply with police packaging guidance and requirements. Schemes are administered using CACI's web-based PT Portal, allowing participants to manage their schemes, participate in PT and receive final reports.
