| Remarks | This PT is intended for medical laboratories. The volume of the specimens can be different depending on the producer. The samples for the determination of specific IgE-antibodies (set 2) contain seasonal and perennial allergens from inhallation, food and insects. From a large number of possible IgE-antibodies we will supply changing groups of antibodies investigation. It is also possible to give a classification of the stage of sensibilisation. The Reference Institute for Bioanalytics is part of the non-profit foundation “Stiftung für Pathobiochemie und Molekulare Diagnostik” and designs and organizes surveys for External Quality Assurance in Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine on their behalf and on nomination by the German Medical Association.
