| Anmerkungen | In this survey erythrocytes (RBC) and leukocytes (WBC) can be counted with visual methods (microscope) or electronic methods from a cerebrospinal fluid. This survey is only addressed to methods that can detect erythrocytes < 500/µl. If the detection limit of the method for erythrocytes = 1,000/µl, participation in the survey Bodyfluid (BF) is recommended. The Reference Institute for Bioanalytics is part of the non-profit foundation “Stiftung für Pathobiochemie und Molekulare Diagnostik” and designs and organizes surveys for External Quality Assurance in Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine on their behalf and on nomination by the German Medical Association.
