Remarks PT provider UCLSB/SSLSB has been operating as an organizer of proficiency testing through interlaboratory comparisons since 2008. It was accredited in December 2013 and it has been constantly updating and extending its scope of accreditation ever since. We had our reaccreditation in October 2018 with no nonconformities detected and our renewed Scope of Accreditation (valid till 17th December 2023) is flexible and you may have a look at it on our official webpage. We have had more than 250 participants from more than 26countries from Europe, Asia and Latin America. Our purpose is to be of help to the CABs and to satisfy their growing needs in the field of PT/ILC by helping them to discover their weak spots and approve their work. It is not about participatig in a PT scheme, it is about getting the use of it and improve the quality of the testing process. We organize extra PT schemes in case such are desired by our clients. The extra PT schemes could be local (for a certain country) or international. It depends on the needs of the CABs. You will receive the Report in Bulgarian at first according to the given deadline. The English version of the report is free of charge and it will be sent to you 2 or 3 weeks after the Bulgarian version. All expenses on sending the samples, invoices, certificates and etc. are on us. Note: All participants will receive further instructions for the process of implementing the relevant PT scheme. The minimum number of participants for a parameter/characteristic to be included in the relevant PT scheme is 5. Extra PT schemes could be organized depending on the participants’ interests!

Aims of the PT scheme
Target group of participants Laboratories in the field of construction which are accredited, non-accredited or preparing for getting accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
Linked to specific legislation / standards
Additional, subsidiary aims External quality control, checking the validity of test results , verification of test methods, test equipment check, monitoring of staff competence and etc..
Number of participants We expect between 40 and 90 participants. The minimum number of participants for a parameter/characteristic to be included in the relevant PT scheme is 5.
