Anmerkungen | The PT objectives are: - To assess the performance of laboratories that perform plate count of mesophilic aerobic bacteria in dairy products by comparing their results with the robust consensus average of all participants and setting as the standard deviation for the evaluation the best perception that it can be obtained from tests published in the scientific literature, protocols, interlaboratory tests and results of the proficiency tests carried out by LACM® / Metrology Division in recent years. - The performance will be evaluated through the use of samples of powdered milk products naturally contaminated, which will allow the participating laboratories to evaluate their performance under the same analysis conditions as the routine ones. - The proficiency test is intended for plate counting methods supported by widely used standards that explicitly mention powdered milk products as a matrix.
