Remarks Objectives: - In relation to the measurement of fat content and crude protein in raw milk, to evaluate the accuracy and veracity of the results of the instrumental MIR method applied by the participating laboratories, comparing their results with the reference methods and applying international standards criteria. - With regard to the measurement of fat content in raw milk, to evaluate the accuracy of the results of laboratories applying the Gerber method, comparing their results with the reference method and applying precision criteria derived from international standards or inter-laboratory rounds. - To enable laboratories that apply Kjeldahl method for determination of crude protein content in milk, to compare their results with the assigned values and evaluate the differences based on these values in accordance with the precision goals established in international standards. - To enable laboratories applying Röse-Gottlieb or Mojonnier method for determination of fat content in milk, to compare their results with the assigned values and evaluate the differences based on these values and compliance with the precision goals established in international standards. - To enable participating laboratories to trace their results to those obtained with the reference methods by a group of expert laboratories through a chain of comparisons.
