| Remarks | Objectives: - Evaluate the participating laboratories that perform somatic cell counts in raw milk by the fluoro-opto-electronic instrumental method, especially in the flow cytometry alternative, comparing their results with an assigned value that meets the requirements established by IDF Bulletin 469/2013 - The assigned values will be based on the SCC of a milk with high cell content, and obtained from the weighted average 50/50 of the robust average of the instrumental results of the participants and the average of RMD results obtained by two analysts - The PT will include 3 different items with SCC in the range of 200 cells / μL to 850 cells / μL - The reproducibility established in ISO 13366-2: 2008 (E) / IDF 148-2: 2008 (E) for the instrumental method is set as the standard deviation for proficiency assessment - The PT items will be prepared by concentration of milk cells, preparation of a milk with high SCC and dilution of this milk with another of very low SCC | |||||||||
