| Remarks | For each test, a reconstituted sample is sent to be analyzed. Reconstituted sample means that it is not a water sample coming from a real sampling in the nature but a sample in which macro-invertebrates are added manually. The composition of such samples is therefore known, ensuring the homogeneity and allowing to provide a real reference to which be compared, besides the comparison with other participants. This reconstituted sample will include 10 to 15 different taxons (excepted for the test dedicated to identification* with an addition of 3 to 5 different taxons) of macro-invertebrates and for each taxon a well-defined number of individuals. This organization allows to offer a test which is less fastidious for the participants compared to a set of 8 or 12 water samples, and consequently renewable (3 tests a year including one dedicated to identification* over a period of 6 months) in order to provide a quality control trough time. | ||||||||||||
