| Remarks | P2606-MRT is designed to fit to the requirements of the analysis of MOSH/MOAH by GCxGC-TOF-MS. Attention: this method ring test is for the identification of subgroups of MOSH and MOAH, not for the quantification of MOSH and MOAH in the material. Two spiked/contaminated sample are provided. The samples are spiked/contaminated with a selection of the substances mentioned below. Matrices are cocoa butter and dried beans. The aim of the method ring test is the correct identification of different types of MOSH (alkanes, cycloalkanes, hopanes, steranes, waxes, POSH, PAO, ROSH etc), different types of MOAH (aromatic ring systems, alkylated aromatic systems, etc.) marker substances like hopanes, DIPN, etc., as well as typical contaminations with waxes etc. The participants are asked to report whether or not the substances (groups) are identified in the provided test materials. a chromatogram, which shows the different groups of MOSH and MOAH.
