Remarks The PT scheme provides evaluation of peripheral blood smear performance. The participants receive blood smear samples ( May-Grünwald / Giemsa stained), and are required to evaluate the differential leucocyte count by microscopic analysis. Then they have to observe and record the morphological disorders of the erythrocytes, the leucocytes and the platelets. Also they have to record any other disorders they might find.
