EPTIS attempts to increase website accessibility and adhere to good web practice standards.
Web accessibility means making websites usable by people of all abilities and disabilities (read Wiki on this). This is a complex aim and only partially achievable. We tried to minimize any barriers but there is certainly potential for further improvement. Please inform us under eptis@bam.de if you have any suggestions.
To meet requirements we kept this site as logical, as concise, as simple and as clearly arranged as possible. That is why we do not use accesskeys or tabindex for navigating. For the same reasons EPTIS does not use javascript or ajax.
Layout is strictly separated from content via cascading style sheets (CSS). There are no so-called layout tables. Our web forms are accessible. You can adjust the font size via usual settings of your browser.
So far the documents for downloading at the EPTIS website are not fully accessible documents (e.g. non-accessible pdfs or proprietary formats like doc or xls).
